I have done about 5 dives with this torch now (and I find it) easy to hold and control, very bright (brighter than my green force dpm hepastar), fairly robust. ........ Overall very good value.

I've had had some torches in my dive time but boy this is the best!

By Wayne Lester on 21 Jul. 2016

I've been diving for 16 years, I started out with the good old UK4 - a great torch in its time. I recently went to Northern Diver for a suit repair, and while waiting I took a browse around the shop and fell upon the new 3500 Varilux torch. I was so impressed I got one that very day! It is so so bright under water, and great value to! Thanks guys for a great product.

Excellent!

By Daniel on 03 Feb. 2017

I purchased one of these torches only a week ago, I have tested this torch in a dark quarry... and wow FANTASTIC! The 3500 lights up everything underwater and the battery seems to last for ages. I have taken the torch down to my local diving club where it got a lot of attention because of how bright it was everyone wanted to have ago. I would highly recommend the Varilux 3500 by Northern Diver. 5*****

A great torch lost to the deep

By Dan on 03 Sep. 2018

A great torch for most rec diving needs. Can't fault it. On half brightness it'll last days and on full, it makes buddies think you have just turned on the sun. The only problem is the lack of a homing device for when I dropped it. Have to buy another now...

I've never been diving with the sun in my hands before. Fairly light about 1kg. High quality construction. Built to last

3500 lumen

By Lewis Lawson on 04 Jan. 2020

First time I've dived with such a powerful torch it's unbelievable its like an underwater sun. Built to last and the manufacturing is like no other you can buy a cheap alternative but why would you trust more at 40 metres with 1 metre vis?
