Constructed from 6.5mm superstretch neoprene, the hood offers excellent flexibility without compromising warmth. The superstretch material contours naturally to the head, reducing water movement while allowing unrestricted movement for long periods underwater.
A key feature is Northern Diver's innovative Supervent System. Positioned at the crown of the hood, the one-way valve automatically releases trapped air, preventing uncomfortable air pockets and ensuring the hood maintains a snug fit during descents and ascents.
To maximise thermal efficiency, the hood incorporates Ti-Ax® heat reflective technology, helping to retain body heat by reflecting warmth back towards the wearer. Combined with the substantial 6.5mm neoprene construction, this provides excellent protection in colder water temperatures.
The smooth-skin neoprene face seals, positioned on both the inside and outside of the hood, create an exceptional seal around the face to minimise water ingress. When used alongside a diving mask or full-face mask, the result is improved comfort, reduced flushing and increased thermal performance.
Finished with a durable MA heavy-duty stretch nylon outer coating, the Supervent Hood is built to withstand demanding diving environments while maintaining flexibility and long-term performance.
