Non Magnetic Tool Kit

Non-Magnetic Tool Kit A, B and C were developed specifically to enable EOD units to deal with old and historic UXO while meeting the challenges of modern and potentially unknown types of weapons and devices.

Special tools designed for specific ordnance are not included, as the range and variety of UXO that could be encountered would make this a costly and almost impossible task. Instead, a comprehensive range of general purpose tools is provided for application to generic weapon types. This gives much-needed flexibility to the EOD operator.

All the tools in EOD Tool Kit A, B and C are designed for primary use when a high order detonation of UXO is assessed as unacceptable. In addition, their inherent non-sparking characteristics make them suitable for use in situations where an external hazard or risk of explosion exists (e.g. explosive atmospheres). All tools are individually certified in accordance with STANAG 2897 EOD.
