Fusion X Dive Torch
The Fusion X is a high-output rechargeable dive torch designed for surface and underwater applications, including recreational and technical diving, search operations, inspection, rescue and commercial use.
The torch uses three SST40 20W LEDs with a maximum output of 4500 lumens. Three output levels are available: 4500 lumens at 100%, 2500 lumens at 50% and 1000 lumens at 30%. The LEDs have a specified lifespan of 60,000 hours.
An 11° focused beam provides concentrated illumination, with a specified beam distance of up to 429m (1407ft) at 1m (3.3ft) and beam intensity of 48,000cd at 1m (3.3ft). The colour temperature is specified at 5700–7300K.
The torch housing is constructed from #6063 aluminium and polycarbonate plastic. It has an impact resistance rating of 1m (3.3ft), an IPX8 waterproof rating and a depth rating of 100m (328ft).
Power is provided by a sealed 15,000mAh battery unit comprising three 21700 cells. Specified runtime is 4.5 hours at 100% output, 6.5 hours at 50% output and 12.5 hours at 30% output. The battery is recharged using the supplied magnetic USB charging cable, with an approximate charging time of five hours.
A single-button control is used to operate the torch and select the available output levels. The torch measures 225 × 60 × 60mm (8.86 × 2.36 × 2.36in) and weighs 0.5kg (1.10lbs) including the battery.
The supplied removable aluminium handle provides an alternative grip configuration. The handle measures 110 × 63 × 22mm (4.33 × 2.48 × 0.86in) and weighs 0.1kg (0.22lbs).
