The Northern Diver Varilux LD Max is a high-performance rechargeable dive torch built to excel in the most demanding underwater environments. Delivering an impressive 2600 lumens through a powerful 8° focused beam, it provides exceptional penetration in dark water, wrecks, caves and night dives, with a beam distance of up to 300m (984ft).
Constructed from hard-anodised aluminium with a durable matt black finish, the LD Max combines lightweight handling with outstanding durability and corrosion resistance. Rated to 100 metres (328 ft), it is engineered to withstand challenging diving conditions while remaining compact enough for use as a primary dive light.
Powered by two high-capacity 26650 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, the LD Max delivers approximately 1 hour of runtime at the full 2600-lumen output or up to 3 hours at 1300 lumens. The integrated USB charging system allows convenient charging from a wall adaptor, laptop or power bank without removing the batteries.
The intuitive push-button switch offers three operating modes—High, Low and Stepless Dimming—allowing precise control over light output. The built-in memory function automatically recalls the last brightness setting used, while the illuminated battery status indicator provides a clear indication of remaining charge before and during use.
